This poem encapsulates grief from the perspective of the bereaved one. I wrote this poem in honor of my grandmother who loved Lillie’s and was not afraid of transitioning. She believed in Jesus Christ and desired to be with the Lord when her time came. So based on her belief and my relationship with her, I wrote these words as if she was saying them. As the words came, they encouraged me and I pray they encourage you.
